This policy explains how Sunshine and Fresh Air (sunshineandfreshair.com, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. The site is operated by GENAZ PTE. LTD. (UEN 202517498Z), Singapore.
Information we collect
Information you give us – Contact form or email: your email address, your name if you give it, and your message. We use it only to reply and to fix any issue you report. – Newsletter (if and when offered): your email address, and the fact that you signed up. We don’t run a newsletter yet. If we start one, we’ll name the provider here first.
Information collected automatically – Server logs: our host records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. Host: Hostinger. – Analytics: we don’t currently use a third-party analytics tool. – Cookies: see below.
We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the site isn’t directed at them.
Cookies and affiliate links
- Affiliate cookies. When you click an affiliate link, for example to Amazon, the retailer may set a cookie so it can tell that you came from us. That retailer’s own privacy policy applies to what happens on their site. We don’t receive your name, address or what else you buy; affiliate reports show us sales totals, not who bought.
- Site cookies. WordPress may set functional cookies, for example to remember a preference. We don’t set analytics or advertising cookies ourselves.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them won’t stop the site working.
Fonts and embedded content
Pages may load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers. If we embed videos or other content from another site, that site may collect data as if you visited it directly.
How we use information
- To reply to you and fix reported issues.
- To keep the site secure and running.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.
- To send the newsletter, only if you asked for it.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help run the site (hosting, email, analytics, newsletter), bound to use it for that purpose, and authorities where the law requires it.
Overseas transfers
We’re based in Singapore, and our service providers may store data in other countries, including the United States. Where information moves overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it’s protected to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
Messages: up to 24 months after we’ve dealt with them. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: as set by our host.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. This includes rights under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 (including the Australian Privacy Principles), and US state privacy laws such as California’s. Contact us at support@sunshineandfreshair.com and we’ll respond within the time the applicable law requires. If you’re in Australia and unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
